A force vent fan is an independently-powered cooling fan fitted in place of the motor's shaft-mounted fan, giving constant cooling airflow regardless of motor speed — commonly specified for inverter/VSD duty at low speeds.
On smaller frame sizes (132 and below) the force vent fan itself is available with either a 1 phase or 3 phase electrical supply — choose whichever matches what you have available. Larger frames are supplied 3 phase only.
The data sheet and technical drawing linked in your spec are for the standard motor without a force vent fan fitted. If you select this option, dimensions and weight will differ slightly — contact us for force-vent-specific documentation.
